Should I Take the First Offer when Listing My Home?

Answer is, NO NO NO.  I always get a little sick to my stomach when I hear a seller saying they sold their house in one day.  Here’s why, if you take the very first offer, you’re not allowing tme for the home to be exposed to everyone. 

The goal is for your home to be seen by the masses and then to make sure we are getting the highest price and the best terms for your home.

Many times if the home is highly desirable or it’s a type of home that is in high demand, you’ll have multiple offers which typically equates to the home selling for more money and better terms. 

Let’s talk about the offers as they come in. You may want to take the first one that comes in and be done with showings. In a hot sellers market like this, you may want to wait through the weekend to see what you get.  We want to Make sure your home is properly marketed and exposed to insure that your getting the maximum return on your investment
